Normally we offer food tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays. For private bookings on different days or bigger groups please contact email@example.com.
26th June till end of August we only offer Afternoon Food Tours starting at 18.30h because of the summer season. From 31th of october till beginning of March we only offer tours on request.
Afternoon Tour (3.5 – 4 hours) – Includes an amazing hidden teashop, wine tasting and a special restaurant with tapas of Michelin star quality.
We start the tour at 18.30h in the marina of the old town of Ibiza – the centre for business, trading and meeting people for 1000’s of years. We first take you to an exclusive wine shop to taste some of the best local wines and liqueurs that Ibiza has to offer. From here we continue the experience with a stop at one of the most special restaurants on Ibiza, the ‘living room’ of chef Boris. This wonderful chef worked at a famous Michelin starred restaurant in Copenhagen and now he prepares the most amazing tapas for us while using the best fresh products grown on the island.
We will learn to poor cider from great heights and we will walk to an enchanting tea salon in the backstreets of Ibiza where we’ll enjoy a delicious infusion of Ibizan herbs along with a traditional sweet pastry from Ibiza’s oldest bakery.
We’ll continue with jamons and cheeses paired with fabulous Rioja wines, followed by a bustling Spanish bar popular with the locals to taste pinxtos and tapas. We finish the tour with a short walk through the old town to taste some delicious locally produced ice cream.
The tour lasts between 3 ½ – 4 hours. It’s the equivalent of having light lunch and dinner. We do not recommend eating much before the tour! Approx. maximum group size is 8 and minimum required for a tour to go ahead is 4 (mixed booking groups).
Morning Tour (3.5 – 4 hours) – Includes the local market, world-class coffee, tapas and the oldest bakery of Ibiza.
We begin the tour at 10.30am in the marina area which for 1000`s of years has been the centre for business and trading. We start in a traditional bar with local coffee and pastries to get our gears turning after which we will walk through the ‘new town’.
We will visit the oldest bakery on Ibiza, then a tasting jamons and cheeses followed by a wonderful tea shop in the backstreets where you will drink a herbal tea infusion created especially for our food tour. We visit the Ibiza food market where you will see locally grown fresh produce and stalls offering traditional meats and cheeses.
We finish the tour with a stroll through the beautiful old town of Ibiza and taste locally made ice cream.
The tour lasts between 3 1/2 – 4 hours and you will taste a mixture of sweet and savoury food & drinks that represent Ibiza’s culinary world in a delicious and surprising way. The tour includes wine, beer, water, food & tapas. It is the equivalent of eating breakfast and lunch so we recommend not eating before coming on the tour.
Approx. maximum group size is 8 and minimum required for a tour to go ahead is 4 (mixed booking groups). Private tours can be arranged on request.
