Should I eat before I come on the tour?
No – The tours are the equivalent of having an evening meal.
What is the difference between a Standard and Premium Tour?
How far do we walk during the tour?
The total distance of the tour is about 4kms on pavements and roads – with many stops and pauses. The longest stretch of walking is about 10 minutes. We also go into the Old Town (Dalt Vila) which includes some steps and cobbled streets. The tour is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
Can you cater for special diets?
We can cater for some, but many of the dishes we try do not have an alternative. Vegetarians can be catered for with alternatives. We can also offer soya milk for the coffee / tea. Unfortunately we cannot cater for vegan or gluten free diets. Please get in touch directly with any specific questions.
Are there non-alcoholic options?
Where does the tour start from?
They start from the hippy statue in the port. Once you have made your booking you will be sent a map of the location.
What size are the tour groups?
The Group (non-private) Standard Tours go ahead with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 10 people. If you wish to book for fewer than 4 people, contact us to enquire if there is an existing tour you can join. Bespoke tours can be arranged for large groups – contact us.
Premium Tours go ahead with a minimum of 2 people. All Premium Tours are private.
Who is the tour suitable for?
Anyone who loves culture, history and food. Children are welcome – but please bear in mind that it’s up to 3.5 hours and they might not have the attention span to do the tour. Parents know their kids best – so we leave it to you to decide whether to bring them or not.
Are there bathrooms available?
Yes, there are many places to use a bathroom on the tour.
Do the tours still go ahead in bad weather?
Yes. We continue even in bad weather so please wear appropriate clothing / bring an umbrella if needed.
Can I take photos on the tour?
Yes – please take and share as many as you like!
What is the refund policy?
Guests may cancel up to 24 hours before the experience start date to receive a full refund. No refunds or credits will be given after that time period.
What if I am late for the tour?
We will wait for you for 10 minutes and then we have to start the tour. If you ring to let us know you’ll be late, it may be possible for you to join the tour at another location after it has started.
